5 WAYS TO STAY PROTECTED

Ways To Stay Protected

We live in a hostile world, however we should not be afraid because the Creator of this world is still able to protect all who call upon Him.

Staying protected is only possible when we recognise that God can and will help us, whatever our circumstances may be as long as we ask Him for help.

God is our shield, our refuge, our fortress, therefore we have no need to fear...

1. A companion to shield you... All who live a life of communion with God will always be protected by Him. To dwell with God is to make Him your constant companion.
(Psalm 91:1)

2.  Shelter from all danger... God becomes your refuge, the place where you go when you are in trouble. He comes between you and everything that would cause harm.  (Psalm 91:2).

3.  Guide in every circumstances...When you choose Him as the one to confide him, through prayer, through following the instruction He gives through His word He is able to lead you and guide. (Psalm 91:11)

4.  Deliverance..God becomes your deliverer when you learn the way to trust Him. Through faith those who make God their refuge shall be kept from such trouble which would be fatal to them. (Psalm 91:3)

5.  Assurance...God promise all who call upon Him honor and deliverance. He says he will give them long life and satisfies them with salvation. (Psalm 91:14-15)

Ambassadors of the Kingdom

"Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God." 2 Corinthians 5:20.

"The heart of the true minister should be filled with an intense longing to save souls. He recognise that God is his shield, his strength and his efficiency. Christ has appointed all heirs of salvation. The believer's expectation of eternal happiness after death is guaranteed.

Don’t quit

Author unknown
When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you’re trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest, if you must—but don’t quit.
Life is odd with its twists and turns,
As everyone of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don’t give up though the pace seems slow—
You might succeed with another blow.
Success is failure turned inside out—
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell just how close you are,
It may be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit—
It’s when things seem worst that you must not quit.

The Gracious Invitation

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28.

Christ sought to teach the disciples the truth that in God's kingdom there are no territorial lines, no caste, no aristocracy; that they must go to all nations, bearing to them the message of a Saviour's love.

Christ tears away the wall of partition, the self-love, the dividing prejudice of nationality, and teaches a love for all the human family.  May we look upon every needy soul as our neighbour. As the rays of the sun penetrate to the remotest corners of the globe, so God loves extend to everyone upon the earth.

Believe In Yourself

By Unknown Author

There may be days when you get up in the morning

and things are not the way you had hoped they would be,
that’s when you have to tell yourself
that things will get better.

There are times when people disappoint you and let you down,

but those are the times when you must remind yourself
to trust your own judgments and opinions, to keep your
life focused on believing in yourself
and all that you are capable of.

There will be challenges to face and

changes to make in your life,
and it is up to you to accept them.

Constantly keep yourself headed in the right direction for you.
It may not be easy at times,

but in those times of struggle
you will find a stronger sense of who you are,
so when the days come that are filled with
frustration and unexpected responsibilities,
remember to believe in yourself and all you want your life to be,
because the challenges and changes will only help you to
find the goals that you know are meant to come true for you.

Keep believing in yourself.

Truth Shines

"Take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." Ephesians 6:13.

The strength of any army is measured by the efficiency of the men in the ranks. He counts on loyal and untiring service from every man in his army. The responsibility rests largely upon the men in the ranks.

Always remember that absolutely nothing can separate you from God's love... This is the beginning of a new day.  You have been given this day to use as you will.  You can waste it or use it for good.  What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it. When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever; in its place is something that you have left behind. Let it be good."

Peace Like Golden Sunlight

"When we learn to say a deep, passion yes to the things that really matter.. then peace begins to settle onto our lives like golden sunlight sifting to a forest floor." - Thomas Kinkade

"It is a great deal easier to do that which God gives us to do, no mater how hard it is, than to face the responsibilities of not doing it." B J Miller.

Called To Be Faithful

God does not require a man to have one talent, He only requires that a man be faithful with whatever he has been given.

THE CALL TO BE FAITHFUL... Abraham yielded up his only son; Esther risk her own life.
Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego was thrown into a fiery furnace.

Stephen died by stoning; Paul lost his life. What price will you pay for your faithfulness?

All Things Are Possible

Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." Matthew 10:26

The army of Prince Immanuel, our General, who has never lost a battle, expects willing, faithful service from everyone who has enlisted under His banner. Eternal interests are at stake. We must put on the whole armor of righteousness, we must resist the devil, and we have the sure promise that he will be put to flight. God and holy angels are engaged in this warfare. Let us please Him who has called us to be faithful. {AG Chapter 21}

Christ is the desire of nations, the joy of angels, the delight of the Father. What solace then must that soul be filled with, that has the possession of Him to all eternity!
John Bunyan
