THE MIND

The mind a wonder careful of its thoughts,
  Mysterious a very beautiful thing;
A Citadel with the ability to dictate
Our feelings to communicate;
Ideas, sorrows, pain and longings;
Embracing all our belongings.

Such present joy we find therein,
Can only be traced as its care has been;
 Fed with wonderful foods we can begin,
To understand the remission of sin.

So set a guard upon your thoughts;

Daydreaming, can cause it to wander,
To places, where feet go assunder;
 Dream if you must but remember;
Heavenly places hearts now ponder;
Will soon be home sweet home over yonder.
