BEAUTY IS MORE THAN SKIN DEEP
Our hair, and our faces we make-up to enchance
Beauty in our faces to draw forth a glance;
What do we receive, by doing these things?
Instead of youth we become an aged thing;
The faster old age will creep on our face;
To avoid all the wrinkle our beauty is deface;
Beauty is found in the face that mirrors God's grace;
There is not a thought a word a deed that does not leave,
Its signature of God's blessing that we can achieve;
That of true beauty within is gentleness and love, besides;
Is felt in the heart where all fountain of truth lies.
The soul that is pure will be always beautiful
And though time will turn our hairs all grey,
There will ever be beauty lightening up those years;
For the beauty of man is a loving soul within,
That only Christ can give to those saved from sin.
